Painted Rocks

I don't know what it's like where you live, but here in the northwest part of the USA, there is a popular trend going on.
Painting, hiding and finding rocks.

This year as Grace's birthday approached I was thinking of something our family could do in to spread kindness to others.

The thought popped into my head
"what about painted rocks?"

Grace's little sisters absolutely LOVE when they find a painted rock when we're out and about.  It completely brightens their day.
And our family (well, my family at least) enjoys painting, doodling and other crafty things.
So naturally I feel this the perfect activity for our family to do to remember Grace.
Something that we can gather around as a family and do while we laugh and love.

Our hope is if you find one of Grace's rocks that it will put a smile on your face and bring some Joy to your life. Feel free to keep your rock, or re-hide it for others to find.

And if you feel so inclined, leave a comment below sharing where you found your rock, I know the girls love to hear the stories!

I will try to make regular blog posts (under the "Blog" tab at the top of the website) of the rocks we paint.  I'll use the tag "Painted Rocks" to make them easier to find.  You're more than welcome to also comment on those posts with the specific rock you found :)

If you would like to paint a rock of your own in memory of Grace, please do!  On the back, you can write "In Memory of Grace Capri" and then RememberingGraceCapri.blogspot.com
This way whomever finds your rock can find Grace's blog and share their story.
